Prominent 11 Samskaras

These are the samskaras for which I conduct ceremonies.
Garbhadhanam - is the conception samskara for having healthy children (Can be done with Simantannayanam)
Simantonnayanam - is the protection for mother and child samskara is usually observed in the 4th, 6th or 8th month of pregnancy.
Sosyanti-homa - is the samskara for safe delivery - usually done with Simantonnayanam samskara in 8th month.
Jata-karma - is birth samskara for the new-born baby. Done at the time of birth.
Nama-karana - is the naming samskara for the child and is usually done within the first month
Niskramanam is the first outing samskara and would be the first time the child leaves home and usually is performed with a visit to the Temple. Usually done inside the first month.
Anna-prasana - is the first grains/solid foods samskara conducted when the child is fed solid food for the first time at around six months of age.
Cuda-karanam (Keshanta karma or Mundan) - is the samskara for first hair cut, where the head is shaved. This can be done for boys or girls and usually occurs between first and second birthday.
Upanayana - this is the initiation samskara - where one is given a mantra to chant and considered the beginning of spiritual practice. Traditionally done at around age eleven but now usually post sixteen.
Vivaha - is the lavish marriage samskara.
Antyeshti - is the final rites of passage samskara or funeral rites that is performed after death.
I also conduct: 
Griha-Pravesh - is the samskara for the inauguration of a new home. Usually done before one moves in but after the refurb is completed, but can be done after one has moved in.
