Kindly note, that the above costs are a minimum standard donation. As per Vedic tradition, additional monetary and other gifts are welcomed according to ones capacity. Please also note that all costs are fixed, and the act of giving a donation is also a part of the ceremony (known as Daksina or Danam – literally translated as a sacrificial fee). This should be given immediately at the end of the ceremony.
If someone cannot afford the minimum standard donation please kindly discuss this with us in advance so that we could make a reasonable adjustment and come to some agreement. We try our best to make our service accessible to as many people as possible.
Travel costs (like petrol/tickets/taxis) as well as accommodation/hotels and parking costs (if required) DO NOT form part of the sacrificial fee. This needs to be added to the final amount unless the beneficiary of the ceremony pays for these in advance for the priest.
